In a workspace with several repositories, branches are switched and created in the active repository, the one of the file you are editing; the branch indicator's menu says which. Turn on
Branch Operations in All Repositories (git.sync_branch_operations) to switch and create them in every repository at once. See
Several Repositories.

In the C.O.R.G.I. sidebar, right-click any branch under the branch list and select Delete Branch.
Git Stashing#
Shelve uncommitted modifications without committing:

- Select Stash Changes (or Stash Changes (Include Untracked)).
- Type an optional message and press
Enter. - Working tree returns to a clean
HEADstate.
Git: Stash Changes and Git: Unstash Latest from the Git menu or the Command Palette act on the active repository and name it when the workspace has several.

- Apply Stash: Reapplies the changes while keeping the stash entry.
